New & Young Lawyers Section
The New & Young Lawyers Section was organized to serve the needs and interests of the newer members of the Bar. The President of the New & Young Lawyers Section is a voting member of the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association’s Board of Trustees.
A New & Young Lawyer is an attorney who:
- Has been admitted to the practice of law in any state for fewer than five years, or
- Is under 36 years of age.
Programs, Social Events & Networking
This active, vital force within the Bar is responsible for many of the Association’s valuable programs and activities, including Law Day, Spring and Fall Swearing-In Ceremonies for New Lawyers, the New Lawyer CLE, and many public service projects. They also host numerous social events, and host Happy Hours throughout the year for all members of the TPCBA.
Annual dues are waived for the year of admission to the Bar.
